Barefoot International booms were designed with collaboration from some of the best barefooters and waterskiers in the world to create a rider focused experience. We combine that with high quality aircraft grade materials to provide un-rivaled safety, stability, and reliability. We simplified the clamp design for increased longevity and utilize a quick release pin with it that allows for easy setup and removal of the boom. Two braided steel cables attach to the bow of the boat to provide increased horizontal stability.

A boom is highly recommended for ski schools and other learning applications because it allows the boat to be driven at much lower speeds while also keeping the rider just a few feet from the instructor. Deluxe Quad Contour Boom(B204) Specs:
Fits direct drive boats with a center mounted pylon - MUST be a factory pylon, booms should NOT be attached to an after-market pylon. CAN be used with tapered pylons because the bend allows it to mount below the taper
Contour bend moves the boom 14” back from the pylon so it will fit boats where the windshield extends past the pylon or there is a tower mount in the way

Compatible with Boom Handle (B111), Height Adjuster(B107) and Boom Extension(B110) accessories:
B107 changes boom height with one quick release pin
B110 can be used to push the user further from the side of the boat to get them out of the chine spray.
B111 is used to make the end diameter of the boom smaller, making it easier for smaller hands to grab

Regularly apply clear silicone grease to the quick release pins to keep them working properly

World Champion barefooter Mike Seipel used his 30 years of experience and training to personally design each of the Barefoot International (BFI) booms without compromising safety. Our own Mike Gazley has owned and coached with BFI barefoot, training booms since he bought his first Ski Nautique in 1987. They are all built to stay strong and won't damage your boat. For added safety, Barefoot International booms utilize a dual stainless steel cable system that runs all the way to the attachment point at the bow. There are no levers or moving parts in my clamp designs because they can loosen or break during use. The clamps for each boom are extremely strong with heavy duty hardware to ensure they remain mounted firmly to the pylon. They also have a quick release pin which makes it easy to attach and remove the boom.
