Founder and CEO Brett Forsythe found his passion for pickleball in 2016 and has since competed internationally and at the open/pro level. Being a competitive athlete and high performance coach prior to starting the company, he quickly noticed that Pickleball was a unique sport where dedicated athletes could compete at a high level without age restrictions. This fueled his passion to get more people active and living healthier lifestyles through movement and sport. Poach was started in Victoria, BC in 2020 and was created to make pickleball a more accessible sport for all individuals while still offering them high performance equipment. The future for Poach is bright as the team work towards growing the sport and making Poach a globally recognized leader in Pickleball.
