Radar Ski Glove Size Chart

Radar is considered a leader in waterski glove technology, offering a range of designs from the high-performance Vapor BOA series with Kevlar palms to the fatigue-reducing Vice gloves with integrated dowel and palm strap.

What Makes Radar Gloves Unique?

Inside-Out Stitching: Many Radar models (like the Vapor and Hydro) feature seams on the outside. This eliminates the "hot spots" and friction inside the glove that typically cause blisters.

Pre-Curved Fingers: The gloves are stitched in a natural "grip" position. This prevents excess material from bunching in your palm when you grab the handle, ensuring a more direct connection to the ski.

Advanced Closures: They utilize everything from traditional double-velcro "Power-Pull" straps to the BOA Fit System, which allows you to dial in a precise, micro-adjustable tension that won't loosen during a set.

How to Get the Perfect Fit: Finding the right fit for a waterski glove is different than a standard winter glove. Because materials like neoprene and Amara (synthetic leather) stretch when wet, a "comfortable" fit in the store is often a "too loose" fit on the water.

When dry, the glove should be a bit difficult to get on! You should have to "wiggle" your hand in. If it slides on easily while dry, it will likely be too big once you hit the water and it stretches a bit. When you make a fist (or better yet, grab a ski handle… ask a staff member in store to anchor you when you pull ????), there should be minimal bunching of material in the palm. Excess material in your palm is the #1 cause of blisters! Your fingertips should reach the very end of the glove. If there is a gap at the tips, the glove may slide or "roll" on your hand during a hard pull. A properly fitted waterski glove should feel like a second skin. It might even feel slightly "too tight" or restrictive on land when dry, but it will mold perfectly to your hand after a few minutes in the water.

NOTE!!! If you are between sizes, you should almost always size down. A tight glove will stretch and break in, but a loose glove will only get looser, leading to hand fatigue, blisters and skin irritation.
