While keeping the increased profile radius and sharper bevels of its predecessor, for the New 2026 Vapor line we focused our attention on smoothing out the marriage between tunnel rocker, bevel rocker, and ultimate tip height. We have created our smoothest, most balanced tunnel entry yet, allowing you to utilize as much of the tip of the ski as you like while you move into the turn. This gives the skier boundless confidence to stand wherever they like and still drive into the turn as aggressively as they dare. More controlled water flow from the tip through the forebody allows the ski to pull through the turn at a more even rate, from apex to edge change. A balanced tip of the ski equals a sturdy and reliable tail of the ski, allowing you to move at will, with confidence that the entire ski is going to support your movements, and the fin is going to hold. Goal one for the redesigned Vapor series was capitalizing on waterflow efficiency throughout the entire length of the ski. With particular emphasis on the waterflow entry point, Matt Rini started at the very tip of the ski and worked his way back. Finding the perfect marriage between top rocker (the bend of the ski you see on the top surface) and the tunnel rocker (the path the tunnel of the ski takes as it arcs up toward the tip) is critical in creating a predictable, balanced platform to stand on as the tip dives into the turn. Stability is king when you need to rip a turn, and the new Vapor delivers.
The Vapor Lithium is the workhorse of the Vapor line; it’s as comfortable running 39’ off as it is ripping aggressive free ski lines. Born from the same mold as the Pro Build, the Lithium instead features a machined PVC core, a material that has proven itself as the high-performance standard across the industry.
