Shuswap Ski and Board is stoked to announce we are the Title Sponsor for Schacres Lake's inaugural World Ranking List Slalom Tournament coming up on Wednesday, August 20th. The event kicks off at 3pm, and will run 2 slalom rounds for an affordable $60/round. Shuswap and Schacres has proudly come together to host local waterski tournaments don't miss out and make sure you are on the start dock for the first of many events!

First time entering a slalom waterski tournament and have no idea how you stack up? This one's for you! Experience the exciting adrenaline of competitive waterskiing - sign up, show up, run some buoys, make some friends! It's that simple!
Prizes for best performance, new PBs (or scores closest to PBs), and others, will be awarded at the end of the event. Bring your lawn chairs, hang out for the evening cheering on your fellow competitors, and best of all, enjoy skiing with friends, new and old!

NEW IN 2025 – TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION PROCESS
There is a new process for registering for tournaments this summer. Please follow the step-by-step guide below. All tournaments are now on the IWWF EMS System.
Step 1 – JOIN WSWC/WSWA Membership System
First, make sure you have created a WSWA Membership account and have an Active Membership for 2025.

You must be a WSWA Member in order to compete.

Step 2 – Create or Confirm Your IWWF EMS Account
If you already have an EMS Account, skip to Step 3. If you do not have an account with the IWWF EMS system, please email the following information to director2@wswa.ca:
- Full name (or athlete's name)
- Email address
- WSWC membership number (found in your membership account)
- Names of any family members to be linked
- You will receive an invitation from the IWWF EMS system to create your account and set a password for tournament registration access.
Step 3 – Purchase Your IWWF License ($25 USD for the full year, or $7 USD for a single event)
An IWWF License is required for all RC and RL tournaments. The Shuswap Ski and Board WRL is an RL Tournament, so all skiers must have a valid annual IWWF license.
Steps:
1. Log in to your IWWF EMS account: https://ems.iwwf.sport
2. Click on My Profile in the top right
3. Select Purchase IWWF Licenses (blue square button)
4. Click + New Order
5. Select 2025 season
6. Click + Add License
7. Select your athlete and choose Unlimited Competitions – $25 USD
8. Pay via credit card
Step 4 – Register for the Tournament
Once you have your EMS account and license:
1. Log in to: https://ems.iwwf.sport
2. Click My Competitions in the sidebar
3. Click + New Participation
4. Filter by Name: "Shuswap" and press Search
5. Click on the "Shuswap SnB WRL"
6. Press Select and follow the prompts to register and pay
