Here's a chance to sell off the waterskis, wakeboards, wakesurfers, wakeskates, wetsuits, drysuits, vests, and hydrofoils, you no longer use or want to trade up, that are still in good working order. Due to space limitations only these product types will be accepted. Sorry, no inflatables such as tubes for towing behind the boat. You'll also be supporting KidSport, with a percentage of every swap item sold. So, remember to bring your old gear back from the lake on the long weekend. Thursday, May 21st: 10 AM to 8 PM - Dropping off Thursday allows for the best selling opportunity, but for people who can't make it by Thursday, they can also drop off Friday, May 22nd: 10 AM to Noon.
Swap & Sale hours:
The Swap part of the Event will run Friday, May 21st through Sunday, the 24th: Noon to 8 PM Friday; 10 AM to 5 PM Saturday; 10 AM to 4 PM Sunday
Pick up unsold gear: Sunday from 4 PM to 6 PM
Gear not picked up by 5 PM Saturday, May 30th, 2026 becomes the property of Shuswap Ski & Board to dispose of or sell off as they deem appropriate, with any proceeds going to KidSport.
Here's how it works:
Bring your gear to the Calgary store during the drop off times, shown above, to register your items. We will help establish appropriate selling prices if needed. We will be promoting the event in a wide range of media and will count on all of you to help spread the word!! We’ll also do our best to help sell the Swap items during the event! Then, you come back Sunday between 4 and 6 PM to see if your gear sold
Sorry, we will not take phone calls asking if items were sold.
If something was sold, we will issue an EFT to the sellers email address for 75% of the selling price OR an in-store credit for 85% of the selling price, valid for 90 days. In either case 15% of the selling price will be donated to KidSport, to support their efforts to have more kids involved in sports.
For those of you not aware of this, John McCammon, one of Mike’s best friends, and coaching partner of over 20 years, passed away in June of 2010. After the loss of John, his daughter, Maddison, a 2 time National Waterski Champion, needed our support to continue her post secondary education and training. For the first 5 Swaps the funds we raised were contributed to Maddie's education and training. When Maddie completed her master’s degree, she and Mike discussed the future of this event and agreed that we would continue it in John's name. They also felt John would have loved the idea of the funds going to KidSport. Your participation and spreading the word on this Ski & Board Swap will be a great help in our fund-raising efforts. When you register your gear, should you decide you want to, there is also an option to donate 100% of the proceeds of your gear's sale to KidSport.
Please Remember:
We need all unsold items picked up on Sunday evening, since we just don't have space to store them. We want to make sure it's very clear that items not picked up by 5PM, Saturday, May 30th, 2026, will become the property of Shuswap Ski & Board and will either be thrown away or sold with the proceeds going to KidSport.
There it is… a great chance to find homes for gear you no longer use, find bargains on other folks used equipment and support a great cause. Since we're in the busy time of the year, it will be best to e-mail any questions to info@shuswapsnb.com. We aim to respond (like always!) within 24 hours.
