For those not aware, Canada placed a 25% import tariff on U.S. water sports products on March 15th. In addition, due to import tariffs the U.S. placed on so many products coming into the U.S., almost all our suppliers put 11% price increases into effect on April 1st. We considered carefully how to handle these additional costs and implemented our Tariff & Price Increase policy on April 30th, in which we offer to absorb half of the percentage increases on any affected products.
On May 23, 2025, Radar’s Canadian distributor announced a significant price increase on their 2025 U.S. made skis. They encouraged their Canadian dealers not to increase the retail prices of these skis, and we have chosen to support our partners decision and go with that approach. However, this has forced us to eliminate any discounts we would have offered on the affected skis.Â
