Shuswap Ski & Board has a reputation second to none, for its top brand name products, huge selection, expert advice, and amazing customer service. We are looking for a key addition to our team who can live up to our demanding knowledge and service standards in a fast paced, and fun-filled environment. Customers always come first, but this is more than just a sales position and that is why someone multi-tallented is needed. There's merchandising and store maintenance, shipping, receiving, phone sales, web site updates, computer and book keeping work, and all sorts of other activities that pop up each day.
To be successful in this position you will need:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
Good organizational abilities and attention to detail,
Possess a motivated, energetic, professional image
A working knowledge of computer, Excel, internet and e-mail
To be physically active and capable of lifting 25 kg.
A strong desire for learning and self-improvement
To possess a high school diploma, ideally with some post secondary education or training.
Candidates with additional coaching, computer, web design, book keeping skills, familiar with shipping and receiving procedures, and/or with management potential will be given extra consideration.

Summer Coaching Staff Required

Shuswap Ski & Board School, has been putting smiles on faces of kids of all ages for over 10 years. We believe no other school cares as much about the safe and fun-filled progress of its students as we do and we are looking for coaching staff who share this passion, and are is not afraid of a little hard work.
To be successful in this position you will need:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Good organizational abilities and attention to detail; Possess a super positive, energetic, professional image; A strong desire for learning and self-improvement; To possess a high school diploma, ideally with some post secondary education or training; and the patience of a saint!
National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) minimum Level 1 Waterskiing and Wakeboarding Technical as well as (NCCP) Level 1 Theory and Practical (fully certified minimum Level 1 - NCCP number required). We will also consider applicants for more junior positions who have their NCCP Level 1 Waterskiing and Wakeboarding Technical as well as Level 1 Theory certification completed prior to June 1, 2006.
A Pleasurecraft Operators Licence and a miniumum of 100 hours of safe boat driving experience, while towing skiers and/or boarders. An thorough on-water practical demonstration/test will be required prior to hiring.
Candidates with additional sales experience and/or aptitude as well as supervisory potential will be given extra consideration.

Our summer staff must be prepared to study and put in the extra effort required to progress toward our demanding knowledge and service standards in this fast paced, and fun-filled environment. This is more than just a sales position, with merchandising and store maintenance, shipping, receiving, phone sales, computer work, and all sorts of other activities that pop up each day.
