The Ultra Dry combines state of the art fabrics and technology to offer a "bag style" suit that is very durable. "NEX-GEN" - a Bare exclusive material - is a unique, light, flexible, waterproof fabric that has been heat welded at all seams for total dryness and incredible durability. In 2004 this drysuit got thicker, more tear-resistant seals at the wrists and anles, which are now taped as well as heat welded. The Ultra Dry drysuit also uses a unique nylon zipper, latex seals at neck, wrist and ankles, and an interior elastic waist band to reduce drag and prevent bunching all provide total security and comfort for years to come. This innovative, hybrid design combines all the best elements of both loose fitting nylon and form-fitting neoprene drysuits. The Tech Dry uses a 200 Denier nylon oxford fabric upper making it ultra-dry while allowing for unrestricted movement. The 200D nylon fabric is "married" to a 3mm, neoprene lower and inside John . To seal off the elements, the Tech Dry drysuit uses latex seals at the wrists, with neoprene neck and ankle seals for added comfort, including inside leg cuffs to help keep water from shooting up the legs. 2007 Bare Polar Heat Drysuit
Designed and tested in the "Great White North" - the Polar Heat is the warmest drysuit Bare make. This innovative, hybrid design combines all the best elements of both loose fitting nylon and form-fitting neoprene suits. The Polar Heat drysuit uses a 200 Denier nylon oxford fabric upper making it ultra-dry while allowing for unrestricted movement. The 200D nylon fabric is "married" to a 5mm, heat reflective Metalite neoprene lower (Bare Metalite provides up to 20% more insulation than standard neoprene). To seal off the elements, the Polar Heat drysuit uses a heavy-duty brass tooth zipper, a trimable latex neck seal, sized latex wrist seals and a unique "flip gasket seal" inside the lower leg. Removable cinch straps are included for added security. All seams in the lower body are heat taped for added seam integrity and dryness. To complete the package, a removable 14oz fleece liner provides for the ultimate climate control system.
