The Shuswap Lake system and recreational area is nestled through the lower valleys of the Monashee range in British Columbia's beautiful interior. The lake offers more than 1,000 kilometers of shoreline and encompasses over 80,000 acres of area. Its larger communities include Chase, the North Shuswap, Salmon Arm, Sicamous and Sorrento. The summer weather is typically very warm and dry. July and August daytime highs average 29C (85F) and water temperature can be expected to climb nicely over 21C (70F) during this time as well. The chart below illustrates the average daily high air temperatures each month during our operating season.

We are located in the town of Sicamous, at 302A Main Street, just off the channel between Shuswap and Mara Lakes, and only just a couple of blocks off the Trans Canada Highway. At an elevation of 1,155 feet (352 m), the town of Sicamous has a year-round population of 3,100 which grows to many times that during the busy summer season. The Shuswap and Mara Lake area, offers almost unlimited outdoor activities, including para-sailing, white-water rafting, golfing, hiking, biking, tennis, jet skiing, horseback riding, fishing, and of course, great water skiing and wakeboarding. Sicamous is also known as the "Houseboat Capital of Canada" with over 250 houseboats available for great vacation experiences.
